The late Jerrold ("Jerry") Glass, chairman of Western National Group, was a Chapman trustee who cared deeply about our university. He and wife Jacqueline were active in many other charities in addition to their dedication to Chapman. After Jerry`s passing in 2003, the Jerrold and Jacqueline Glass Foundation deepened its commitment to Chapman with a multi-million-dollar gift that established two endowed chairs at the university as well as naming Chapman`s newest residence hall, The Jerrold and Jacqueline Glass Residence Hall, formally dedicated on March 30, 2006. The Jerrold and Jacqueline Glass Residence Hall is the home away from home for students on our living-learning environment campus. This 312-bed residence building is built in the shape of an E; the external wings are traditional dorms while the middle wing of the E-shaped structure contains two-bedroom apartments.
