The Davis Apartment complex and Davis Community Center, completed in 1974, are named in honor of John L. Davis, president of the university from 1957 to 1971. The complex consists of five three-story units each containing twelve one or two bedroom apartments typically ranging in size approximately from 680 to 970 sq.ft. Davis Center (2 floors, 7,742 sq.ft.), the Community Center, houses a lounge, recreation room, and offices.
