Life trustee James Roosevelt’s name graces this historical building, which was originally named Founders’ Hall, until its rededication in 1994 to honor the “larger than life” robust man with twinkling blue eyes. James Roosevelt gave the university a lifetime commitment of service and possessed a deep love for his country. On display in Roosevelt Hall is a unique set of pens that were donated by James Roosevelt’s widow. These artifacts are mementos owned by Roosevelt that represent various legislations that were passed during the Johnson and Kennedy administrations. This building completed in 1928 (2 floors, 12,280 sq.ft.) is listed in the National Registry for Historical Buildings.
