George L. Argyros and his wife Julia have left a lasting impression on Chapman`s campus, and for that this building has been named in honor of their tremendous generosity. As a Class of `59 graduate, George has contributed greatly to Chapman`s vision to become a pre-eminent university. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for twenty-five years and formerly served as U.S. Ambassador to Spain. His veteran wisdom to future generations of Chapman students is to "dream big dreams". This building built in 1992, is a state-of-the-art structure (3 floors, 95,700 sq.ft.).
