Call for A Compendium of Classroom Cases and Tools (C3) Volume 4 |
|
The Information Systems Section of the AAA publishes a collection of IS-related teaching and instructional materials. Sharing your IS-related projects and cases will not only help new AIS instructors, but also more seasoned professors who would like to use different exercises, but may not have the time to develop them. As many of us know, developing and validating reliable classroom exercises is very time consuming and also requires a considerable amount of experience.
We are interested in any of the following that can be easily and effectively integrated into AIS curricula: Short Cases Class Projects Business Simulations, using EXCEL, ACCESS, SAP, etc. Other similar materials
This fall semester provides an excellent opportunity to test proposed submissions in courses before the deadline for submissions, which is shown below.
Submissions must include the: · instructional resource/teaching note to guide instructors in the use of the · case/project/simulation · project/case/simulation etc · solution
We would prefer hyperlinked documents to an index page where the documents (teaching notes, solution, case, etc.) linked would be in pdf format. Please include a separate title page. Submissions are double-blind peer reviewed.
Deadline for submissions: February 15, 2009 Communicate to authors, 1st round: April 1 Communicate to authors, 2nd round: June 1 Final deadline for project completion: July 15 Posting at AAA Commons: August 2009
